Hey everyone, 

We have some exciting news: We've been testing, prototyping, and working behind the scenes to add a new feature to STOCKY: removable wheels! This will come standard on all tiers. The idea is that you'll be able to interchange wheels between this and future STOCKY models. Plus, we'd eventually like to offer additional wheel options as add-ons, giving you the ability to customize your STOCKY and really make it your own. Let us know in the comments what wheel models you'd want to see!

We worked with our manufacturing partner Level52 to develop a completely novel interlocking wheel/axle combo that is ultra-durable, has an easy, but stable snap on/off function, while still allowing the wheels to roll smoothly. Our goal and expectation for the design is to allow for ~40,000 on/off cycles, so you won't have to worry about it wearing out.

There are still a lot of supply chain and shipping back-ups, but we're pushing forward on all fronts to create and deliver your STOCKYs on time. We've partnered with BackerKit to help us manage and streamline the process of getting STOCKY to your doorstep. If you need to change your address or even modify your pledge, we'll be introducing that functionality via BackerKit in a future update shortly.

Woah, 3 days left! A huge thank you to everyone who has pledged so far --  we're overwhelmed by all your support!

Because you guys are awesome and we blasted through the goal, STOCKY is going to be a reality! We’ve been working with our manufacturing partner Level52 and the factory, making final touches to the model in preparation for physical production. From here the next step is taking this final 3D model and CNC machining the mold for the car out of a solid block of steel! Stay tuned.

Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm & patience as we navigate this new territory and bring this awesome little car to life. We're stoked on it and are confident you will be too.
